Introduction

Megawide Construction Corporation ("Megawide," "we," "our," or "us") operates the Megawide App mobile application (the "App"), an internal tool designed exclusively for Megawide employees ("KaMegawide"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use the App.


This App is intended solely for use by Megawide employees who are 18 years of age or older. It is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect information from, individuals under the age of 13.

Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information when you use the App:

a. Account and Identity Information

  • Employee name, job title, department, and employee ID
  • Email address and work contact details
  • Profile photo (if uploaded)

b. Authentication Information

  • Microsoft SSO credentials (handled by Microsoft's authentication services)
  • Email and password credentials for direct login
  • JWT authentication tokens, stored securely on your device

c. Device Information

  • Device type and operating system version
  • Network connectivity status (used to manage online/offline sync)

d. Usage Data

  • App activity such as screens visited and features used
  • Sync logs for offline data management

e. Locally Stored Data

A local database is maintained on your device to support offline functionality. This data mirrors information available on the company's backend servers.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected to:

  • Authenticate and authorize your access to the App
  • Display your employee profile, organizational structure, and company information
  • Deliver company news, announcements, banners, and internal content
  • Support HR functions such as the employee directory and profile management
  • Sync your data between the App and Megawide's backend servers
  • Maintain app performance and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Monitor and improve the security and integrity of the App
  • Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal company policies

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling for commercial purposes, or any purpose unrelated to your employment with Megawide.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.


Your information may be shared in the following limited circumstances:

  • Within Megawide: Your profile information is visible to authorized employees and administrators within the App.
  • Microsoft Authentication Services: Login via Microsoft SSO is processed through Microsoft's authentication platform, subject to Microsoft's Privacy Policy.
  • Service Providers: We may use third-party services to host and maintain backend infrastructure. These providers are contractually bound by confidentiality obligations and are prohibited from using your data for any purpose other than providing services to Megawide.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Megawide and its employees.

Data Storage and Security

We take the security of your personal information seriously and implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect it:

  • Authentication tokens are stored using secure device storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore) and are not accessible to other apps.
  • Local data is stored in an encrypted database on your device to enable offline access.
  • Data transmitted between the App and Megawide's servers uses HTTPS/TLS encryption.
  • Access to the App and its backend is restricted to authenticated Megawide employees only.
  • Backend systems are protected by access controls, firewalls, and regular security reviews.

While we employ industry-standard security practices, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. In the event of a data security incident, affected employees will be notified in accordance with applicable laws and internal policies.

Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as you are an active Megawide employee and the App is in use.


  • Active Employment: Your data is retained and kept current for the duration of your employment.
  • Upon Termination: Your access credentials will be revoked within a reasonable timeframe following your last working day. Account data will be handled in accordance with Megawide's internal data retention policies, which may require retaining certain records for legal, audit, or regulatory compliance purposes.
  • Locally Stored Data: Upon deprovisioning or uninstalling the App, locally stored data on your device will be cleared.

Your Rights

As a Megawide employee, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Right to Access: Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
  • Right to Rectification: Request corrections to inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal and operational requirements.
  • Right to Restriction: Request that we limit the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.
  • Right to Data Portability: Request a copy of your personal data in a structured, machine-readable format where technically feasible.
  • Right to Object: Object to the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact your HR department or the IT team. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable law.

Third-Party Services

The App integrates with the following third-party services, each of which operates under its own privacy policy:

  • Microsoft Azure Active Directory — for SSO authentication
  • Expo / EAS (Expo Application Services) — for app build and distribution services

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these third-party services. Megawide is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party providers beyond the scope of their contractual obligations to us.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the App's functionality, or applicable laws. When we make material changes, we will:

  • Communicate the update through internal Megawide channels (e.g., company email or in-app notification)
  • Update the effective date at the top of this document
  • Make the revised policy available within the App

Continued use of the App after changes are made constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. If you have concerns about a change, please contact HR or the IT team before continuing use.
